Cravings

People ask me all the time about cravings.  Before I was pregnant I thought I would be eating fried pickles and ice cream for nine months and I was really excited about it.  To my dismay, for the first 7 months or so I didn't crave anything, I just kept eating like I normally do.  Then one day out of the blue I had a really strong desire for something.  I had to have it that minute and it was all I could think about and talk about.  My sweet husband left at 9:00 pm drove for about 20 minutes until he saw these...
Ahhhh the Golden Arches.  A sign that deliciousness will follow shortly.  And Mike came home with this...

Sweet, sweet delicious Strawberry Milkshake.   Just looking at this has my mouth watering.

And I haven't stopped craving them.  I constantly want a McDonalds strawberry milkshake.  Not vanilla, and certainly not chocolate and it can't be from anywhere but McDonalds.  Mike tried to get me one from Johnny Rockets, which is much closer to our house than McDonalds, and it didn't do the trick  (I still drank it anyway).

I didn't think it could get any better and then yesterday I was getting my occasional, weekly (ok fine) daily Strawberry Milkshake and noticed a pleasent surprise.

Bestill my beating heart.  McDonalds is now adding whipped cream and a cherry to their milkshakes.  I don't think life gets any better than this.

Oh and as if dedicating an entire blog post to milkshakes wasn't shameful enough, take a look at my "recent finds" on my GPS.
