Layla met two more of her Great-Grandparents when my Grammy and Grampa visited this week. When Nick and I were little we use to love visiting with my Grandparents so much that we would plot ways to hide in their car to make them take us back to CT with them when they visited us and cry the whole way back to VA when we were visiting them. I'm so happy that Layla gets to experience their visits. She got to breath in the way my Grammy always smells like roses and get a little gentle teasing from my Grampa. These visits will only get better in a few years when she figures out Great-Grammy always has mentos in her purse, tootsie roll pops in the panty and there is nothing in the world like Great-Grammy Sue's cookies! Here are some pics of their visit.
Doesn't her hair look so strawberry blonde in this pic?
Four generations of women!
This one isn't the best picture, but I just love how we are all laughing. And what we are laughing at is my Grandpa trying to make Lulu smile. Notice she is the only one not smiling.
Wow I really don't look like I'm related!
And just because they are cute, here are L's little piggies.
