Suprise Baby Shower for Mike

Last week, Mike's awesome boss JC hosted a surprise baby shower for him.  JC emailed me a few weeks ago to invite me to the shower and I actually kept the secret from Mike.  I think this might have been the first time I've actually kept a secret from Mike, usually when someone tells me not to tell him something I immediately call him and tell him (you have now all been warned...) 

M was more than a little surprised and he even blushed a little bit.   The shower was so nice and all his colleagues were above and beyond generous.  The fact that his colleagues spent so much time, effort and money on the surprise shower reinforced what I have always known, that people love Mike everywhere he goes.  Thank you JC and everyone at Chartis!

Poor Mike had no idea how to open gifts in front of people.  He would just look in the bag and say "oh thank you it's an outfit."  I had to show him what this shower business is all about...people want to see the outfits!

This cake was so good, even Mike ate it and he normally hates cake!
