Layla's first word (?)

I'm pretty sure Layla has said her first word and that word is "Hi!"  'Hi' is a sound that babies could just make with no meaning behind it, hence the question mark.  However, Layla started saying it repeatedly in the correct context.  For example, yesterday she was sitting in her highchair and and Cash was laying at her feet.  She leaned over to look at him and when he made eye contact with her she said "Hi!"  Then they both looked away and when they made eye contact again she said "Hi!"  Repeat this 3 times.

Then this morning, she and I took a little nap together in my bed.  When she woke up she rolled over reached for my face and said "Hiiiiiiiiiiii!"  It was heart-meltingly cute.

So what do you think people of the blogosphere?  First word or over-eager delusion of a first time Mom?
