New Set of Wheels

Layla and I received a very special gift this weekend.  My Uncle Joe bought us a bike!  Yep, you read that right he bought us a bike.  And not just any bike, a bike with a baby seat for Layla.  Not just a bike with a baby seat, but a bike with a baby seat and a sweet basket to carry diapers and sippy cups and all of the millions of things one tiny baby needs to leave the house.  The very best part of the gift is the tiny pink helmet that falls just so the only thing we can see are Layla's big brown eyes peeking out.

Can you believe what an incredible and generous gift we got?  We are just the two luckiest girls in the world.  A bike!  

We rode to the town center today for lunch.  Layla was so content in the back seat and even let out a few giggles as we glided down a hill and she felt the breeze on her face.  It was the perfect afternoon on this gorgeous fall day.  THANK YOU UNCLE JOE!!!

Oh and see the little green toy in her hand.  That's Eugene the Octopus.  He is Layla's new best friend and comes with her absolutely everywhere she goes.

Gahhh did you just collapse from all that cute.  Sorry I should have warned you it was coming!
