Letters to Layla

Dear Layla,

Happy 10 months sweet baby girl!  You have been quite the chatter box this past month.  All day long you keep a running dialogue of gibberish.   You are really trying hard to tell me stories.  Your sweet little voice goes up high when your excited or yells when you are really trying to make a point.  Sometimes it gets low and growls when you're talking to Cash.  You know what lots of words mean and even though you can only say a few, you and I really seem to understand each other.  The other day we were playing with your toys and every time I said "Momma's turn" you would hand your toy to me.  You did this over and over again.  I was so excited that you understood just what I was saying.

You also learned how to clap your hands this month and like to do it when ever you are excited.  You also love to dance and clap your hands to music.  You also learned to point to things you see or want. You can throw things and find it so funny to throw anything you can get your hand on, from your sippy cup to Eugene the Octopus.

You turned into quite the little tickle monster this month and laugh so hard if we get near your tummy or neck.  You also love to be chased.  You start crawling real slow and look back at us with a little glint in your eye.  Once we start to chase you, you will squeal and laugh.  You would do this for hours if we kept chasing you.

Your personality has really shone this month.  I love seeing the little girl you are becoming.  You are a sweet, cuddly, happy, laughing little girl.

Love,

Momma

Ha, I'm pretty sure this is exactly what Mike and Cash look like on his chair any watching football.

This is what she does when she wants to be chased.  Crawls slow and looks back at us real sly.
