The Easter Bunny

My first job out of college was in the marketing department of a retail management company.  One of my responsibilities was planning seasonal events like Santa and the Easter Bunny.  Every spring, when I saw the creepy bunny come to the mall I thought to myself "who in the world takes their baby to go see the Easter Bunny?" Answer: Me.

Today Layla and I were at our mall with a Mommy friend and her baby for lunch.  When we walked past the Easter Bunny she practically jumped out of the stroller with excitement.  She LOVED the bunny and was desperate to go see him.  She was reaching through the fence laughing and yelling "Elp!  More!  Mama!  Elp!"  So even though I cringed just a little bit, I placed Layla on the Easter Bunny's lap and she couldn't have been happier.
