Sunny days, sweeping the clouds away...

This weekend we went to New Jersey so Layla could spend some good quality cousin time with her cousin Chase.  While we were there we went to Sesame Place and spent some time at the beach.  We had such a great weekend.  I think this may have been the best weekend of Layla's life!  She was so happy at both Sesame Place and the beach.  I'm going to divide the weekend into two different posts because I took a ton of pictures.

Up first is Sesame Place.  We knew Layla would love it, because she tends to love anything giant and furry (ie the Easter Bunny)  But we didn't anticipate just how excited she would be.  We went to a character show where all the Sesame stars sing and dance and get very close up with the kids.  Layla was probably the most excited I have ever seen her.  She was screaming and clapping and flapping her arms and stomping her feet and dancing in a circle.  Then when we met Elmo, or Ella! Ella! Ella!  as she calls him, she was pretty much frozen in place with excitement.  We bought her an Ella stuffed toy while we were there and he goes everywhere with her now.  On the way home she had him in her car seat and told him a story the whole way.  It certainly was a sunny day for Layla.

Forget Disney, this is Layla's happiest place on earth.
