Mikes on a little ski bachelor party for one of his friends this weekend so I took Layla out for a special little girls morning. We did a little shopping and tested out new make up. Taking Layla to Sephora was probably more fun for her than Toys R Us. This girl LOVES make up. I made her a little make up bag with all my old and empty products and every morning the two of us put our make up on together. We spent about an hour in sephora with her pointing and oohing and ahing and saying "look momma Layla pretty!"
After Sephora we had a nice little brunch where I looked at her and thought "who is this big girl sitting next to me in a booth?" We're excited for daddy to come back, but it's always nice to do a little something special, just is girls.
Oh yeah, Michael doesn't ski. We'll see what shape he's in tomorrow.
