New England Trip

Last week Layla and I spent 5 days in New England visiting family and celebrating my Grandpa's 80th birthday.  It was a whirlwind of traveling and we were showered with lots of love and kisses and cheek pinches (for Layla, no one pinched my cheeks.)  We loved seeing everyone, but boy is it exhausting to travel with a baby.  I just now feel like we are back to our normal routine.  Luckily  my parents came with me too and gave lots and lots of help.  The guys sure did miss us while we were gone and we missed them too.  I think Cash's tail almost wagged right off his body when we came home.

If you can believe it, I didn't take a single picture during our trip.  Me -Queen of the Camera.  I was so preoccupied that I didn't break out my dslr or iphone once.  Luckily, other people took plenty of pics which I have stolen and now post here for your viewing pleasure.

My grandparents got Layla a stuffed bulldog so she wouldn't miss Cash on her trip.  Every morning when she saw him she would growl and make her doggy noises at him.

Grandpa and his grandchildren and great-grandchild.  We're just missing Nick and Sean.

Cousins!

Layla's favorite person in the whole world, my cousin Jake.  No exaggeration, she was obsessed with Jake.

Now on to Rhode Island family!  We also celebrated Jido's(arabic for Grandpa) 83rd birthday

She's going to be walking any day now.
