Farm School

I was planning on starting Layla in preschool this year, but then I found out I was expecting a baby a week before school starts. I was worried it would be too many changes at once and she may not transition so well in to school. So we will start next year when she is 3. In the meantime I discovered this awesome preschool readiness class at the preschool at Layla's favorite farm. It's only once a week and the parent stays in the class with them. Today was her first day and she did so well.  I was so impressed with how well she sat and listened to her teacher and followed all the instructions. She participated in all the songs and activities. And bonus- she gets ti visit the farm animals after class.

She had a great time and later when we were home she set up her stuffed animals to go to 'school' with her teddy bear as the teacher.

And sweet little Luke just hung out in my infant carrier and slept during class.

So excited for school!

We started class with play doh time

She looked like such a big girl to me sitting in circle time

I know it's blurry but she was having a ball during a parachute song.

Snack time!

Her first preschool craft.

Snug as a bug. Here's the Lukester just chilling in the infant carrier.
